Woven on a full width Donegal loom, this blanket uses a traditional báinín warp and herringbone pattern.
Style: Designed to be slightly reminiscent of old style blankets that featured a bold pink or blue border and bands of thin stripes, these were sometimes colloquially referred to as “Foxford blankets” although they were woven with different stripe & pattern iterations by Dripsey Woollen Mills, Foxford, Kerry Woollen Mills and many others.
This blanket has been hand-knotted & professionally washed and pressed at Magee’s of Donegal Town.
Materials: 100% Pure New Wool ~ dyed & spun in Donegal
Care: Dry clean only recommended
